Sebastià Altimiras is a professional translator specializing in technical, marketing, and software localization from English to Catalan and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience, he has collaborated with major multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Sony, Huawei, Xiaomi, and BYD, among others. He has also worked as a functional and linguistic tester and project manager for IBM and various multilingual vendors (MLVs).
He holds a degree in Translation (English and German into Spanish and Catalan) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He also studied in Germany (University of Hildesheim), France (University of Pau), and obtained a German Language Aptitude Certificate from the Escola Oficial d’Idiomes in Barcelona.
